Job description
Brompton is seeking a Systems integrator to join our Electric Systems department. The role will be responsible for building and testing Electric drive system prototypes to support the integration of the electrical system on Brompton product lines. The responsibilities include prototype building and testing, liaising with the project teams to ensure the integration activities are aligned with project milestones and lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any issues that may come up during those activities. Tasks may also include test equipment maintenance; calibration of the bike performance profiles and test management. The successful candidate will operate as a key member of the team, integrating hardware software and control systems on the bikes through an iterative approach to mature the Electric drive system. Within the Electric Systems team, the candidate will work closely with the system, software, and electronic teams to ensure components are fit for purpose on the final product. The successful candidate will work on optimising performance and cost to deliver excellent electric-assisted bicycles to thousands of riders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL
Engineering Technician or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
Relevant industry experience
An interest in cycling and a passion for creating truly useful products that improve people’s lives
