Machine operator

As Brompton grows to meet customer demands new processes within the brazing department mean there are some exciting opportunities to join the. As a machine operator you will be a flexible, multi skilled person who can easily transfer between machine processes within the department. We are looking for a multi skilled individual with an enthusiasm towards machinery and engineering in general that wants to be part of positive change towards the environment.

As a machine operator you will be responsible for the production from various machines within AFAC, this could include tapping machines, welding robot machines, Autobraze machines and other machines where necessary. You will be responsible to deliver parts to the expected quality standards and drawing meeting or exceeding the relevant target production times. There will be expectations of general set up, shutdowns, consumable replenishment, and tool replenishment. You will be expected to complete other engineering tasks within the department when necessary.
