The Events Executive role is a dual focused role for a personable, pro-active, and creative individual. It offers a unique opportunity to focus on delivering events properly whilst supporting on our Brand, trade and retail events etc.

The Marketing team manage 2 direct stores and support our distributor network and partners. We have an established event portfolio with an international calendar of activity across our markets with a focus on building brand awareness and trial of Brompton as well as Brompton Junction events.

The Marketing team is growing and so is the demand for our unique events, we need proactive, creative people who are ready to join us on this exciting journey. This role will take ownership of our B2C events, giving our customers a true Brompton Experience. Our customers are incredibly passionate and eager to get involved with our brand events and we want to harbor their enthusiasm & excitement.

Job requirements

Brand Events

  • Take leading role in the expansion of the brand events. Working closely with the Marketing Manager to organise and execute multiple heats in our key markets across China mainland.
  • Support in the recruitment of sponsors, act as an account manager to various suppliers / partners.
  • Be onsite for all events to manage logistics and to soak up the incredible vibe that our customers bring to the event.
  • Help drive the evermore important Virtual element of the event, the Brompton World Challenge, making sure that our hero event is inclusive and accessible to our audience.
  • Brief relevant teams on the internal and external communications via social media platforms, our own social campaigns, trade communications and staff intranet.

Brompton Junction Events

  • Supporting our ever-growing Brompton Junction network with toolkit events, community events & global marketing campaigns such as Campaign for Movement.
  • Take a leading role in store openings, working with the internal Junction team and regional teams to engage the local community.

Trade Events

  • Working closely with Marketing Manager to manage dealer conferences & trading events and creating a bespoke experience to inspire and empower China dealer network. This role includes communicating with dealers, managing event agencies, coordination of dealer stakeholders and producing reports before and after the events.
  • Oversee our virtual dealer conference & trading events, working with sales managers to create up to date content each year.
  • Manage our presence at Trade Events, creating an exciting, creative contents which embodies Brompton’s ethos and drives high engagement with Brompton fans.
  • Create engaging reports to share success and learnings from our events.

Events Administration

  • Manage all events kit & loan bikes requests. Facilitate and track requests, working with our tech team to service the fleet and manage logistics.
  • Attend events and act as a brand ambassador, positively interacting with the Brompton audience.
  • Support in the creation and production of event marketing assets including stands, flyers, and content.
  • Be a leading role in the development and delivery of our expanding portfolio of engaging, impactful brand experiences.
  • Support Marketing manager with product launch events.
  • Support with our growing number of Purpose driven events which we alongside some amazing partners, foundations, grass roots organizations and charities.

Brompton Events Toolkit & VM & POS

  • Manage the launch and roll out of our brand-new Brompton events toolkit.
  • Driving engagement for the new event series from China dealer network focusing on the 2 Brompton Junction stores.
  • Support local markets and dealers to create experiential community events and give prospective customers an opportunity to try.
  • Managing the day to day running of the toolkit & GWP and fielding all event request from our Junction teams and dealer network.
  • Update POS irregularly to assist the sales work of the store.
  • Assist and manage store display of each channel and provide detailed VM guidance.
  • Make and update GWP varieties and meet store needs according to activities and marketing plans.


  • At least 3 years’ experience within events role or as office manager, PA or EA
  • Outstanding project management skills – you are organised and diligent.
  • You are process driven and work to a tight schedule.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all communications.
  • Ability to prioritise and use your time efficiently.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks with varying timelines.
  • Problem solving, lateral thinking and being able to think on your feet.
  • Curious and keen to learn about events and brand experiences
  • Good working knowledge of Windows programmes (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Please note this role may require working outside of normal office hours including potential occasional weekends. Time is provided in lieu for weekends or bank holidays worked.
